Future Games Show GC 2025: HOTEL BARCELONA

White Owls Inc. and CULT Games are working on HOTEL BARCELONA — an upcoming 2.5D action hack-and-slash where players will embody Justine, a novice Federal Marshal with a secret: she shares her mind with a deranged murderer named Dr. Carnival.

Throughout the game, the game creates what’s known in-game as a Slasher Phantom: an exact replica of their movements in the prior run that can damage enemies. Players will use those echoes as everything from a shield to an ally!

The title also offers online multiplayer and PvP invasions, meaning players can join up to three others and enjoy co-op mode, even to complete missions. They can also have a fourth player invade their world and begin a cat-and-mouse game.

During the Future Games Show, we got to see a trailer, where one of the members of the team talk about the game whilst showing off some of the gameplay! HOTEL BARCELONA is set to release in September for PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Steam.
