Future Games Show GC 2025: Lost Rift

We’ve already seen quite a bit about Lost Rift since it was announced earlier this year. We already know that it’ll be an island-based PvE survival game with base-building and expeditions, but we didn’t know just how intense the combat will be. We hadn’t seen the gigantic monkeys, ridiculous firefights, and the paranormal-looking spooky lighting!

A new in-engine trailer at gamescom showed us all that and more. There were some lovely scenes where our characters built their base, fed some birds, and then started fighting with enemies that appeared to be made of evil purple smoke. The big reveal, however, was the announcement that we can experience all of this in just a few weeks, when it comes to Steam’s Early Access platform on the 25th of September.
