Future Games Show GC 2025: Witchspire

Magic is always a fun idea to play with: what could you do, how would it work, and what inane parts of my life could I automate with a flick of my wand? In the upcoming co-operative survival game, Witchspire, we may get a little taste of a magical world as hocus pocus up a home and befriend a flying owl-cat-thing.

Taking on the roles of novice magic users, you and your friends will set off into the world of Witchspire in order to find a home, hone your magical powers, and fight the slumbering darkness that suffuses the land. Use spells to grow a forest when you’re low on lumber, astrally project yourself to make house-building a breeze, and venture into the many dungeons and dens of the world to tame yourself a familiar. Be wary, however, as corruption and danger could be around every corner…
