Gal*Gun Double Peace Getting Worldwide Release

Developer Inti Creates have recently released the newest in their line of Gal*Gun titles in Japan, Gal*Gun Double Peace.

They have revealed that, due to the outpouring of support for the title outside of Japan, they are currently looking for a publisher in the west.

With the release of Gal*Gun: Double Peace in Japan the other day, and the absolutely tremendous amount of support we have received in the past 48 hours, we have come to the decision that now is the time for people around the world to experience Gal*Gun! The team was completely blown away by the outpouring of love and support for this franchise from the fans outside of Japan, and it turned out to be the final push to make a worldwide release for Gal*Gun come to be.

The plot follows the protagonist as he is targeted by a trainee Cupid and accidentally becomes the most attractive male of all time. Every female that crosses his path wants to be with him, with one drawback. If he doesn't find his true love by the end of the day, he will be unable to ever find love. The demon girl Kurona, however, is trying to make things more difficult by making the girls' affection turn to anger.

The protagonist has to go through the 70 girls on offer, defending himself from their advances by firing 'love arrows' at them. It's an on-rails shooter, similar to Time Crisis, but with more jailbait.

Gal*Gun certainly won't turn popular opinion of Japan being a perverted nation, due to the ability to see through solid objects -- clothing included down to the underwear --, and the fact the girls falling under your spell do so in clearly erotic ways. Adding in the tentacle monster that Kurona can summon... Well, then.

Should Inti Creates secure a publisher, Gal*Gun Double Peace will come to the West on PlayStation 4 and Vita.
