gamescom Opening Night Live 2025: Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition

During gamescom, we got to see a trailer for Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition, which is coming for the very first time to PlayStation consoles, as well as getting a new expansion. In it, they showcase how the gameplay has gotten optimised for controller and that every DLC is coming, including the newest one, Dynasties of the East. As the name suggests, this will take players all the way to the East; the clips even showcase the use of elephants in battle.

Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition is available to pre-order now on PlayStation 5, and the Premium Edition offers five-day early access. The game will release on the 4th of November! Check out the trailer for a closer look at the controller-optimised gameplay as well as the DLC.
