gamescom Opening Night Live 2025: Black Myth: Zhong Kui

Game Science might still be drawing in players for Black Myth: Wukon, but the Chinese developer is already hard at work on the sequel. At gamescom opening night, we were treated to an unveiling of Black Myth: Zhong Kui, the second game in the series based on Chinese folk tales.

With some strangely cockney-sounding Chinese scallywags seemingly escaping the scene of some kind of theft, it opens without any hesitation. Their escapades are soon cut off by two giants leading a tiger the size of a building across the nearby terrain, and then we’re treated to the announcement of the new game’s title. Game Science has stated that the project is still in early development, so at this point we don’t know much, but if there’s a giant tiger, do you really need to know any more? Check it out above, and stay tuned to GameGrin in the coming days for even more gamescom goodies.
