gamescom Opening Night Live 2025: Honor of Kings World

Honor of Kings: World looks a bit Square Enix-esque doesn’t it? That’s no bad thing though, as the champions of JRPGs are probably the best people to take inspiration from. I was initially expecting to see some kind of Kingdom Hearts game, but actually, it’s an open-world MMORPG from the creators of the hit MOBA.

Following on from the stories of Honor of Kings, Honor of Kings: World is set to be another free-to-play title, but this time in a different genre. The trailer showed some spectacular battles, and a number of truly massive enemies. A giant mech fish that can fly stood out, but that was just one of a number of comedically gigantic monsters. No release date or platforms were confirmed, but we were asked to subscribe for more info.
