gamescom Opening Night Live 2025: The Outer Worlds 2

During gamescom, we got to see a comedic trailer for their upcoming sequel, The Outer Worlds 2, that touches on the various companions players can expect to meet throughout the game, showcasing their personalities and fighting style.

Aside from occasional hilarious commentary, we get to see glimpses of enemies, the various worlds, and some sneak peeks at the weapons players will get to use as well. Make sure to check it out to get a look at everything!

Set to release on the 29th of October, this new entry to the first-person open-world sci-fi RPG by Obsidian Entertainment is being published by Xbox Game Studios and is available for pre-ordering. The Outer Worlds 2 will release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Cloud, BattleNet, and Steam.
