Gamestop Staff Horrified as new Battletoads Game Announced

Although NES arcade beat-em-up Battletoads wasn't actually a huge success in the UK, the meme that surrounded it took everywhere by storm. The Rare-created title was a big hit in the US, where the NES actually sold well, and in the 2000s, the internet gave us the Battletoads meme, with hundreds of people calling Gamestop to pre-order the classic game.

Fast-forward to 2019, and Microsoft now own Rare, so a new entry in the series is being created which will be exclusive to the Xbox One and Windows. Rare are busy with Sea of Thieves so development is being handled by Diala Studios, who will be loving hand drawing all of the artwork.
