Greenlight Hopeful: Stellar Tactics

Designed and created by Don Wilkins, an industry vet with an impressive portfolio, including work on Wizardry, Arcanum, Tribes and The Hobbit among others, Stellar Tactics is slated for PC and Mac release in the near future after six years in the making. The game has hit Steam’s Greenlight programme with the aim of getting itself a publishing deal.

Stellar Tactics challenges you to assemble your team, equip your ship and explore a vast and dangerous universe. A tribute to classic RPG gaming, the gameplay promises to impress with its immersive narrative, deep strategic turn-based combat and rewarding open world space exploration. You play an elite warrior in a team of soldiers genetically modified and bred for warfare. You wake to investigate an occurrence on one of the ships that carry the remnants of your people, suspended in a deep sleep for the long sub-light journey. Your deeds will change the destiny of those you protect, and your actions will reflect in the events that unfold as you reach your destination and you are unleashed into the void.
