Half-Life: Alyx Gameplay Videos

Valve will release Half-Life: Alyx on 23rd of March. It's a virtual reality exclusive game that will be available through Steam and can be played on several headsets. The Valve Index, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift & Quest, and Windows Mixed Reality.

In the three videos, we see the different styles of movement in the game.

• Teleport - The player leaps from point to point instantly to reduce motion sickness.
• Continuous - A traditional style of first-person movement. Aimed for those with a stronger constitution of stomach.
• Shift - A smooth transition between locations.

Another thing highlighted is the way the player can interact with their environment. From poking a dead enemy to opening a door for cover. It will make interactions with puzzles other objects in-game quite interesting.
