Help Fatshark Name Their Next Game

Help Fatshark Name Their Next Game

Fatshark are currently developing a game, or maybe a DLC or expansion pack, we’re not actually sure. All we do know is that it currently has the working title “0921” and they’re looking for a better one. That’s where you come in, as the company are hoping for their fans to name the new project.

“Game developers are often super-secretive regarding new projects, and they usually get a working title day one that is used until it’s officially announced. The names are randomly picked in the beginning and no one really thinks much about it. Then after a year or so, it’s not as catchy anymore.” Says Martin Wahlund, CEO Fatshark. “We like doing things a little differently at Fatshark, and we thought we’d get outside help to make our working title as great as it possibly can be.”

The rules are blisteringly simple. Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to come up with a name that will inspire the staff at Fatshark. It’ll be printed on t-shirts and brought up in staff meetings so it’s got to be something catchy and punchy, but it can be anything you like. We’d recommend not bothering with Gamey McGameface, someone’s undoubtedly already suggested that and the joke isn’t funny anymore.

The best working title as chosen by the company will receive a Fatshark Developer Promotion Kit. What’s one of those we hear you ask? Well, it’s a special bundle of prizes which includes Fatshark hoodie, Fatshark socks – and pretty much anything else they can find that has “Fatshark” printed on it. Oh, and they’ll also be throwing in all the PC games they’ve ever published, just as a small bonus.

If this sounds like your kind of thing and you’d like to help the company name their latest project, why not head on over to their website and take part.
