Heroes of Steel Launches Leaderboards

Heroes of Steel Launches Leaderboards

With the final chapter of Heroes of Steel about to launch on all platforms, it's a good time to introduce leaderboards.

Starting a new game of the tactical RPG and playing until you save at an inn, will introduce you into the leaderboards. Depending on which difficulty you're on, will affect which leaderboard you appear on.

The Normal and Easy leaderboards are getting full, but those who enjoy the challenge of games like Diablo II will get a kick out of the Ironman leaderboard. With Easy and Normal, dying will take points off of your score (increased by gold, xp gained, etc), but you can always build it up before submitting.. With the Hard, Brutal and Nightmare however, dying submits your score due to permadeath.

Permadeath is a concept from the old game Rogue, which is where the term 'roguelike' comes from. You usually cannot save and don't have extra lives, making it more challenging.

As well as the leaderboards, Trese Brothers Games have announced that there will be a Heroes of Steel comic book being released. 12th November it will be published.

You can grab Heroes of Steel, which is about to launch Episode 3, on Steam, Desura for about £8, or mobile on the Apple App Store, Google Play and the Amazon App Store, for free with an optional upgrade!

Can you get on the Ironman Nightmare Leaderboard?
