Highly Anticipated Dead as Disco Releases with New Launch Trailer
Brain Jar Games, Inc.'s Dead as Disco has been a highly anticipated title for quite some time, as the spectacle fighter beat-'em-up title with rhythm gameplay caught the heart of fans with its fast-paced combat and silliness. Master martial arts meets rhythm by utilising Beat Kune Do, fighting to the beat of the song and syncing with the music to beat up foes.
The title is just an homage to fun, focusing on bringing fast-paced gameplay and a narrative that charms. 10 years after the band, Dead as Disco, dissipated, they're reuniting for a concert that'll honour the dead drummer, Charlie Disco... the player character.
Taking on the role of the dead drummer, players will head out for the night to confront the bandmates, uncover the secrets, and figure out who killed Charlie Disco, all in an homage to revenge. Challenge the idols, battle your way through music, and create a performance with each combat encounter that you enjoy!

The Early Access was released on the 5th of May, after having earned over 40,000 Followers leading up to the launch. According to Brain Jar Games, there are about a year of Early Access updates awaiting in the future, though players can already battle four of the seven idols they'll have to face against.
The launch trailer shows off what players can expect in the experience, showcasing just 21 seconds of pure action-packed gameplay and music. Music includes both an entirely original OST that's streamer safe and epic licensed music, ranging across various eras of themes.
If you're interested in checking out the experience, Dead as Disco is out now for Steam Early Access for £19.99, but it has a 20% discount that brings the price down to £15.99 until the 19th of May 2026.
