Hogwarts Legacy Delayed to 2022
To prospective witches and wizards awaiting their Hogwarts acceptance letter this year, it seems as though the school term will start next year - as the Harry Potter spin-off RPG has been delayed for a 2022 release.
Developer’s Avalanche Software announced via their dedicated Hogwarts Legacy Twitter account that the upcoming title was to be pushed to a later date - stating "We are giving the game the time it needs.”
Having been officially announced at Sony’s PlayStation 5 Showcase in September, Hogwarts Legacy was expected to arrive sometime in 2021; though its presence has been known about through a gameplay trailer leak back in 2018.
