Hollow Knight on Switch Gets Delayed

Indie Metroidvania title Hollow Knight has been delayed on Switch, the developer Team Cherry has revealed. 

Talking on their blog the developers made the announcement that the game's Switch release will now be early 2018. 

"We’ve been working hard to get it all polished up and ready (while working on the new content in the meantime), but last week, we took a moment to do a proper assess and decided that we should give it a bit more time. We both (Ari & William) want to ensure this version isn’t just an okay port, but a great one, and our partners at Shark Jump agreed."

Though the delay will be disappointing news for those waiting for its release the additional time to polish the port of the game is always welcome. Not to mention the team is working on new content which will likely be included in the Switch version at release. 

Hollow Knight is available now for PC.
