Hotel Architect Releases Major Management Update with New Trailer & System Overhaul

Developer Pathos Interactive and publisher Wired Productions launched their Early Access title Hotel Architect last year on the 20th of May 2025. Since then, it's been an astounding success, as the game nearly reached Overhwelmingly Positive reviews with 823 ratings and 94% of them being thumbs up at the time of writing.

Now, the team has been expecting the title to be in Early Access for 6–12 months, and in its eighth month of development, they've dropped an overhaul for the Staff Management system. Shown off in a three-minute-long YouTube video, Hotel Architect shares information about the new update that dropped recently.

The management overhaul splits the attribute system into two: personalities and skills, which will affect a lot about how staff members behave. The former, personalities, will be an unchangeable trait that's a core element to the staff, whereas the latter, skills, can be levelled up and improved.

This comes with the new staff training system, where every character will be able to level up to five skills, letting you train your staff as you go. This should give hotel managers more control over the working conditions and their strongest employees to ensure more customisability.

This also comes with the update to the TV item (where players can actively change between channels) and a Lunar New Year Pack, which features 10+ new items, two outfits, two windows, a door, and wallpapers.

Hotel Architect's staff management update is now live as part of the Early Access build — players who want to check it out can do so for £19.99 via PC on Steam, and the title is at a 50% discount until the 12th of February, knocking the price to £7.99!

Check out the trailer embedded above to learn more about the update.
