Hytale Releases Lengthy 16+ Minute Video of Gameplay After Hypixel Return

It's been five months since Simon Collins-Laflamme reached out to Riot Games to prevent the closing of Hytale, and in that time, he was able to secure the game and return it to the original team: Hypixel. Now, with the project in hand, a lot of the original developers are being brought back to work on the title, and a lot of new screenshots and videos are being shared.

In the video titled "Breaking the Curse | New Hytale Gameplay" on the YouTube channel, we get a glimpse of Simon playing through the game and showcasing some of the weapons that players will be able to use. The wide range of armaments come with their own abilities, blocks and skills to keep them unique, giving unique battle identities to those who pick them up.

The video shows off several gameplay elements, from cutting trees, fighting foes, and different times of day as Simone explores around. It's the most in-depth look at the title that we've had in years, and it shows a surprisingly stable and playable build, which he announced will be receiving an Early Access release date soon.
