Kingdom Hearts Gets an Official Steam Announcement Trailer

The KINGDON HEARTS franchise is making its way to Steam. This comes after the announcement of Square Enix and their new approach to releases following their announcement that they'd end exclusivity with their titles.

KINGDOM HEARTS debuted on the Epic Games store back on the 30th of March 2021, and even back then, Steam files could be found. Now, after three long years of exclusivity, it's finally arriving to the most-famous PC platform, and fans are all celebrating.

The "KINGDOM HEARTS - Steam Announcement Trailer" released with a premiere of 13 hours and released on the 21st of May 2024 in the official KINGDOM HEARTS YouTube channel. It's a four-minute love letter to the entire franchise, starting from its roots in Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover and following the timeline until the latest release, Kingdom Hearts III. It also has a re-recording of the cult-favourite "Simple And Clean" by Hikaru Utada, which had fans in tears.
