Developed by Friends of Safety and published by DANGEN Entertainment and Game Source Entertainment, Kingdom of Night is an isometric action RPG that offers open-ended quests and a coming-of-age drama in the middle of a cosmic horror. We got the chance to review it, in case you'd like to hear our writer's thoughts on it!

Players will go back to a night in 1987 to the small town of Miami in Arizona, where an ancient evil is brewing. As the young protagonist John, they'll venture off and try to save their neighbours... and the world.

Here's everything you can expect from Kingdom of Night:

• Play local co-op.
• Choose from five different classes, each with its own style.
• A flexible skill tree with a total of 30 talents to choose.
• Once players reach level 10 on a branch, they can cross over to another one for further customisation.
• Gear and weapons can be found hidden throughout the town.
• Complete quests to also get some equipment.
