Lego Dimensions to Feature a New Jonathan Coulton Song

Lego Dimensions to Feature a New Jonathan Coulton Song

One of the things that many people often cite as being what made Portal so memorable was Jonathan Coulton penned song "Still Alive". The musician already had a big cult following on the internet and his inclusion on the game's soundtrack was seen as a great move by many, leading to huge success and countless cover versions all over the internet. It went down so well that Valve even invited him back to create "Want You Gone" for the sequel.

With LEGO Dimensions featuring a number of elements from Portal, Jonathan has been asked back once again to create a new song for the forthcoming toys to life game from Lego. The new song is called "You Wouldn't Know" and will feature Ellen McLain reprising her role as GlaDOS once again on vocals. It appears that GlaDOS has chilled out a little since we last heard from her. She's made friends with Batman and even seems to be missing Chell a little bit.

The story behind the song, along with the lyrics are available at Jonathon's official website and he's already made the song available for download from his own store should you want a digital copy all of your very own. It's set to be available for download from other stores, including iTunes, soon.

It's awesome that they're letting him sell it. And that they actually got them both to do another song, in fact. As you say, always very memorable.
