Lionhead Studios Working On Mysterious New IP

With the upcoming release of Fable Anniversary and the multiplayer Fable Legends, you'd think Lionhead Studios had enough on it's plate - but not so!

While the British studio haven't released anything but Fable-related games since Microsoft bought them in 2006, an interview carried out by Eurogamer with the director had this to say:

We've worked on a number of Fable games. We did The Movies. We did Black & White. We're not just a Fable studio. Judging by where we are at the moment we've had a lot of Fable games in recent times, but I wouldn't say that we're just Fable. I can't really say any more at this point!

This was on the heels of a couple of job postings from the studio, for an animator and a senior services engineer, for a "cutting edge" game.

I'm glad to see this hint they are stepping away from the lucrative Fables series, in favour of something different.  I loved Black & White and The Movies (not as much Black & White 2), so am hoping their signature brand of humour makes its way into the new game.
