Little Nemo and the Guardians of Slumberland Releases with Launch Trailer

DIE SOFT has officially released their anticipated Little Nemo and the Guardians of Slumberland. This cute, metroidvania title invites players to take control of the titular character as they embark on a journey to save Slumberland.

Players take control of Little Nemo to protect the land from Oblivion, a mysterious entity that is consuming everything. Using the power of imagination and toys, players will battle cute and challenging boss fights in the 2D hand-animated world.

In the awake world, players will be able to change Little Nemo's PJs to better fit their own aesthetic, explore a vast and interconnected world with different thematics, and unlock Ability-granting toys to further exploration. Meet the unique cast of characters and set out on the epic adventure to fight against Oblivion.

This indie title saw success in its 2022 Kickstarter, raising a little over the required goal for completion. With 1,792 backers, the 2026 launch sees the final and full release, this is a successful Kickstarter experience, which is an experience that we need far more of.

The trailer released on the official DIE SOFT YouTube channel offers a look at what players can expect from the actual gameplay. Featuring the cute characters they'll get to meet, the whimsical locations they'll explore, and the Abilities that they'll be able to gain, it's an all-inclusive video for those who want to learn more about the game.
