Live Your Cowboy Dream in Gaucho and the Grassland; Check Out the Trailer Here!

 Gaucho and the Grassland is an upcoming adventure farming simulator that brings nuance and freshness to the cosy genre through the new setting and protagonist! The developer took inspiration from The Legend of Zelda franchise, adding some spice of magic and puzzles to the genre.

So, whenever the cowboy's not busy with his usual farming duties, such as caring for the animals, he can be found exploring the wide world, solving puzzles, and looking for adventure.

Rodrigo Moreira, the Co-founder and Lead Game Designer of Epopeia Games, had the following to say about the inspiration they took from The Legend of Zelda franchise,

"At first, Zelda brought us the epic adventure, no doubt about it, but [the game] has also been showing a cosy side for a long time now, with moments of calm and contemplation, not to mention the fun characters we meet along the way.

Then there's the recent remake of Link's Awakening with its beautiful, cute visuals, which we also find a great inspiration.

In this way, even though the initial idea was not to create a "Zelda with farming elements", the references we had made that cosy elements with an adventure structure no longer seemed so distant from each other when balanced, and since then, we have sought to realise the potential of this union of genres."

Here's what you can expect from Gaucho and the Grassland:

• Farming gameplay, including taking care of animals!
• Four regions: the mountains, the beach, the pampas, and the mystical world.
• A narrative with magical elements.
• An exploration of cultures.
• A cast of NPCs to get to know and help.

At the time of writing, there's a demo available to try out the game. Gaucho and the Grassland will be available on the 16th of July! For the first two weeks, there will be a 15% early bird discount.
