Medieval Dynasty's Latest Update Expands on the Game's Vision of Medieval Life

Animals were a monumental part of medieval life, and with its latest update, developer Render Cube has sought to reflect that in its newly-released life simulator Medieval Dynasty. In addition to a slew of livestock gameplay mechanics—breeding, selling, male/female distinction as well as the production of resources like wool and milk—players will now be able to ride, care for and store their own horses. It's a feature that the developer is noticeably proud of, as evidenced by the horse-riding trailer above.

Of course, there are more changes in this update too. New tools, equipment, an NPC who hands out challenges (which are also new),  waypoint functionality, additional progression for the "Diplomacy" skill and more—and that's all failing to mention the typical fixes, tweaks and localisations that tend to populate the bottom regions of change logs.

You can read the full change log on the Steam Store page.

Medieval Dynasty is an in-depth medieval life simulator which lets players grow from gritty medieval survivor to founder of their own thriving settlement. Through exploration, hunting, farming, foraging, trading, diplomatising and more, players will grow to become the master of their medieval domain. With a skill progression system, a gameplay-impacting seasonal cycle, faction allegiances and a story-based main quest to play though, there's a lot of content in this game already, even in its Early Access state.

Medieval Dynasty is out now for PC on Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG.
