METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER Releases Free Online Multiplayer Mode

KONAMI's lates title,  METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER, launched a few months ago on the 28th of August 2025 to wide acclaim from fans and newcomers alike. Our reviewer, Jacob, really loved his experience as a previous fan of the title — check out his thoughts here!

Though the title was a definite success for the team, that doesn't mean that KONAMI is done updating the title, at least not yet. Shown off in a new trailer, METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER is receiving a new multiplayer mode with two game modes for players to delve into.

FOX HUNT invites operators to jump into the jungle, where they'll need to utilise stealth and tricks learned throughout the narrative campaign. This multiplayer mode features to game modes for players to jump into: Survival Capture and Survival Intrude.

Every player is taking on the role of a member of the covert unit FOX, each equipped with a unique camo to give them the opportunity to blend in with the environment. With this, they'll need to complete objectives in order to be victorious.

Here's what you need to know about the game modes:

• Survival Capture: Kerotan Frogs will be scattered throughout the jungle map, and operatives must battle it out to gather them — as the match progresses, fewer ones will be available, leading to tense battles.
• Survival Intrude: Players must hide out in designated zones, with the stealth section dwindling and bringing everyone together — proper stealth and positioning will be the key to victory.
