Microsoft Releases Steam Deck Compatibility List

Microsoft has chimed in with their own Steam Deck Compatibility list, inviting players that own the console to download the Windows version and play some of the titles through the Xbox Game Pass. However, their list currently only features Xbox Game Studios titles available on Steam.

With eight verified games, six other playable ones, and four officially unsupported, it might be a good idea to understand what these labels mean.

• Verified: Completely playable and supported, you should encounter no issues playing these titles.
• Playable: This difference can be as small as a warning text box appearing or even having to bring about a virtual touchscreen to enter text in-game.
• Unsupported: You can't play these games on your Steam Deck, mostly due to anti-cheat systems implemented in them; it is unclear if this will change in the future.
