Monster Sanctuary DLC Video With Developers

Monster Sanctuary, a creature collecting metroidvania turn-based game, released a new update which brings news for the upcoming free DLC as well as some Steam goodies:

• Eight trading cards which players can earn by simply playing the game or trading for them.
• Seven backgrounds (two uncommon and one rare) that can be obtained by collecting badges, which are acquired through trading cards.
• Six emojis (two uncommon and one rare) which players can also get through badges.

The free DLC announced is called Forgotten World and it adds a handful of new content to the game as well as reworking some of the old:

• A new area to explore, bigger than any of the others in the game.
• 10 new monsters with nine of them being found in the new area and the other one being a new optional Champion Monster in the earlier areas.
• Three new game modes, all of them being able to be combined with one another, including the New Game+ and the existing difficulties.
• Level cap was raised to 42 from the previous 40.
• Old monsters have had a skill node added to their skill tree.
• Skill trees have been reworked from the feedback from the beta testers.
• Some sprites and animations have been remade.
• And more.
