Moonlight Peaks Has a Release Date; Check Out the Announcement Trailer!

After three more years of development, Little Chicken, XSEED Games, and Marvelous Europe's upcoming vampiric farming simulator has a release date! Moonlight Peaks opens the doors for players to step into the shoes of Dracula's child as they experience the supernatural-filled town.

The announcement comes with a new trailer that showcases more of the game that the community hasn't seen. This includes the town, some of the NPCs, and a glimpse of the mechanics we can expect!

As a supernatural (and customisable) protagonist, players will move to their in-game family's abandoned homestead and turn it into their dream gothic home. The cottage offers a place to farm magical crops and livestock, but possibly most importantly, it's somewhere to hide from the sun and sleep!

Throughout the town, there are seven families, and they're all supernatural. With plenty of NPCs to befriend — and romance — there's a lot of social interaction to be had! There are two dozen dateable NPCs.

Whenever players aren't busy making small talk, they can work towards unlocking their ancient bloodline's abilities. This means players can shapeshift into other forms to unlock new areas full of resources to collect.

This will open up all the other many activities available in Moonlight Peaks, such as fishing, foraging, potion-crafting, embroidering, flower arranging, and more! Or play a game within a game with the card title Nokturna.

Here's what Moonlight Peaks offers:

  • Step into the shoes of a supernatural character in the gothic town of Moonlight Peaks.
  • Move to your in-game family's abandoned homestead and rebuild it.
  • Spend time farming magical crops and livestock.
  • Unlock supernatural abilities that open up more parts of the town.
  • Get to know the seven families in Moonlight Peaks.
  • Two dozen dateable characters.
  • Tons of activities, from the usuals like fishing to potion-making, embroidery, and arranging flowers.

Watch the trailer for a closer look at the game! Moonlight Peaksis set to release on the 7th of July for Steam (it will be Steam Deck–verified), Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Google Play.
