Music-based Arcade-inspired Kaz Receives Major Demo Update
Developer Kalinarm and publisher HAKURO are proud to announce the latest demo update to Kaz, the upcoming music-based arcade-inspired title. Set in a minimalist grid, players are invited to enjoy the score-chasing high of arcade titles of old, offering only four-button controls and tactical gameplay across various game modes.
The latest trailer showcases a major update that has arrived in the demo. This brings a few new additions, most important of which is the new chill mode, which removes the timed countdown and replaces it with move-based timers. It's a great opportunity for those who prefer to strategise, rather than the fast-paced action gameplay that Kaz offers, all the while still enjoying the minimalistic gameplay.

Several new music tracks have been added as well, as the demo now features seven themes from the game's community user-generated content contest. Each of the new themes that have been implemented includes entirely new ways to play, expanding the gameplay elements with more game modes to customise the experience. Finally, this latest demo gives players a chance to get hands-on with more items, spells, boosts, consumables, and more.
If you're interested in checking it out, Kaz's demo is available to check out right now on PC via Steam. The game is set to launch sometime in 2026.
