New Avatar Creator and Multicrew Features Headline Elite Dangerous Update

The fourth instalment of the Elite Dangerous series of expansions is now out, with a group of new features available to all who purchase. As well as a new Multicrew co-op function, The Commanders introduces a new “Holo-Me” avatar creator. Coming alongside those additions is a new passenger vessel called Dolphin, a new third-person camera suite, Asteroid Bases, and he enormous Mega-Ships, which are exactly what they sound like!

If you haven’t purchased the Horizons content, you still get extra toys from Frontier with the free 1.8 gameplay update on PC, Mac and Xbox One, but the Multicrew co-op and avatar creator are for those with a season pass to the Horizons content only.
