New League of Legends Champion Locke Officially Launches

It's been a few months since the launch of the last League of Legends champion. Zaahen was released in November of 2025, which means that it's been nearly seven months since we had a new one.

Shyvana is the latest champion to join the list, though she wasn't exactly a new champion, and hasn't been for a long time. Still, her long-awaited rework took over the usual champion launch on the 2026 Season 1: For Demacia period.

Now, we've had the opportunity to check out the new champion, Locke, who was revealed a while back and further shown off in a cinematic trailer, where he fights against Vayne. It's been an exciting release, though a lot of players have been disappointed about the fact that it wasn't a new support (with the latest one having launched over three years ago).
