Developer Level-5 has revealed that their upcoming JRPG Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom has been delayed.
This means that the upcoming game will not release on 23rd March, 2018 rather then it's original release date of 19th January, 2018. In a statement about the delay it was announced that the delay is to allow for more time to polish this title.
Akihiro Hino, Level-5 president and the games director, made the following comment:
"However with innovation and new ideas come the need to ensure everything works together in a fun and cohesive package. This means we'll need a bit more time to make sure the entire Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom experience meets Level-5 and Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc.'s high quality standards."
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will release on PlayStation 4 and PC on 23rd March, 2018.
