Nikki and Bunty Drive a Bus for Charity

You've probably seen Desert Bus before. It was a mini game destined for a scrapped Penn and Teller game on the 3DO and Mega CD. Every year, website Loading Ready Run hold a contest to see how long they can play it for the Child's Play gaming charity, and this has helped the odd title spawn its own life. Essentially, it's a real-time eight hour bus drive across a featureless desert in a vehicle that veers off to the side every now and then (so you can't just stickytape the accelerator button down and leave). It was designed to be the most realistic (and boring) simulation of driving a bus in a straight line ever.

Top Spicy gaming YouTubers Nikki and Bunty are putting themselves through this nightmareon the 25th of May, and it'll be live online, so that you can see the torture that it puts them through. Torture of course being quite fitting, as they are doing so in order to raise money for Amnesty International, a charity that aims to help uphold human rights and fights against things such as torture, war crimes and discrimination across the world.

At the time of writing, the pair have earned an astounding £800 for their cause, and are on target to get that into at least four figures by the time of the stream. You can donate by clicking here and check out the stream on Nikki and Bunty's YouTube channel.
