Not Such a Small World For American Truck Simulator

Over the last six months, the developers behind detailed simulation title American Truck Simulator have been rescaling the world. The game was set over a map featuring modelled real cities of America, set to a 1:35 scale. This has now been adjusted to a 1:20 scale, meaning that the world is now 75% bigger as a result.

This change is about more than just making things bigger though, it contains a completely reworked road system, huge updates to the Steam Workshop tools and a new city in the form of Santa Maria. Revised rolling resistance computations have been implemented and there are some new chassis options, as well as an adjustable FOV setting.
