P.A.M.E.L.A Latest Patch is Live

Early access open-world survival horror game P.A.M.E.L.A. recently received its newest patch. Version 0.3.4.1 comes with optimization for stalker enemies, additional optimization, and the ability to customize the game mode you're playing in.

Stalkers have long been a bane for fans of the game, and developers NVYVE Studios acknowledges players' gripes by balancing the persistent foes.

"We've had nearly unanimous feedback that these guys were much too difficult and didn't feel fun in most cases," the notes read. "They've received a lot of love these past few weeks, and now spawn much more intelligently based on a combination of factors."

The player's genome point level will affect the amount of Stalker spawns, and they will no longer spawn at lower levels when players aren't in a position to deal with them. They will also spawn from further away and do less damage, to make them more manageable all around.

Game mode customization gives players an opportunity to tweak the P.A.M.E.L.A. experience to their taste in more ways than just turning permadeath on and off. Players will have options to make the game more or less difficult - for example, by making it so the player is always "wanted" and attacked by Seekers on sight, or by scaling down different aspects of enemies.

The full patch notes are available on Steam.
