Persona 5 Japanese Release Date Announced

It has been a long wait, but Atlus have finally announced a release date for Persona 5. While the 15th September may not sound so far away, it has not yet been confirmed as a simultaneous worldwide release.  The date was announced during a Japanese livestream following a countdown timer on the official Persona 5 website. 

Along with the release date, a new trailer was also shown, revealing new characters, gameplay, and environments. 

Persona 5 is the first numbered Persona sequel since 2008. An accompanying animated feature has also been confirmed.
