Project Motor Racing Receives Update 2.0 in Newest Launch Trailer
Straight4 Studios and GIANTS Software released Project Motor Racing on the 25th of November 2025, inviting players to embark into the pro motorsport. However, shortly after launch, the title was plagued with negative reviews, receiving bad to middling scores across audiences and critics alike.
Since then, the team went behind the scenes to fix some of the issues that players had with the experience. While it's been four months since the release, we have now received a brand-new 2.0 update, promising to fix some of the issues that players had with the experience.
Launched on the official ProjectMotorRacing YouTube channel, the launch trailer for Update 2.0, which gives players a look at what sorts of things racers can expect. It's a 1:31-minute-long trailer, giving users the opportunity to learn about the changes that were launched to Project Motor Racing, and it's the first major milestone, with (hopefully) more to come.

The update delivered seven major patches to some of the areas that Project Motor Racing racers shared feedback on. Here are the highlights of what the trailer touches on:
- A new Radar system for players to engage with.
- A reworked Penalty Logic system.
- Refined and superior AI behaviour to make races more engaging.
- Expanded controller support.
- A new direction in handling across multiple classes, which includes the hypercar, GT3, GT4, and the Porsche 992.
- A fully redesigned UI for more comprehensible navigation.
- Better graphics and performance across all platforms.
- A reworked single-player experience.
- A stabler online multiplayer experience to keep races consistent.
It's a breath of fresh air, and audiences have been responding positively to the changes shared on the trailer. If you want to check it out first-hand, you can do so embedded above!
Project Motor Racing Version 2.0 is out now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
