Psychonauts 2 Has Been Delayed
Developer Double Fine has released a new update video on the development of Psychonauts 2 and sadly, the game has been delayed.
Thankfully the update video includes both good news and bad news. The good news is that the company is now in full production mode for the title meaning pre-production is now over. The team now has a better understanding of the size and scope of the game which means development progress well for the company. With that though, the game will no longer being releasing 2018.
Originally scheduled for a release later this year the now clearer size of the game means that the company known this is not a possible goal. The new release date has not been disclosed just yet and though Psychonauts 2 will not be releasing in 2018, there is no word if it will be next year or even later at this point.
Psychonauts 2 is currently in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

A Tim Schafer game being delayed? That's a huge surprise. Hopefully it'll be worth the wait though. Gives me more time to finally finish the first one I suppose
