Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart gamescom Gameplay Reveal

Ratchet & Clank fans were given a look into the new series’ title, Rift Apart, and a small glance into the PlayStation 5. The trailer showed off the new tether mechanic and there was confirmation by Insomniac that new players will not need to have played older Ratchet & Clank titles to follow the new story.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will be the first release in the series since 2016 and will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5. Although there is no confirmed release date, it will likely not be finding itself trailing too far behind the release of the PlayStation 5.
