Unlike most titles, which launch at full price before dropping to a discount after a handful of months, Rockstar's Red Dead Online has launched at a discount—a fairly steep one too—before a planned jump to full price after exactly 75 days.
Launching at £4.49 on all platforms, the title will increase to £17.99 on the 15th February 2021.
Red Dead Online, otherwise known as the online component of Red Dead Redemption 2, launched as a standalone title for the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Steam, Epic Games Store and Rockstar Games Launcher on the 1st December. Containing the exact same content as the original Red Dead Redemption 2's online mode, the only distinction between the two titles comes from the lack of any single-player content in this recent Red Dead Online—as its name suggests.
Red Dead Online is out now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam, Epic Games Store and Rockstar Games Launcher (playable on Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5 via backwards compatibility).
