Release Date Confirmed for Queen's Blade Re:Build
Japanese media conglomerate Hobby Japan Co., Ltd. has announced that its upcoming roguelite card game Queen's Blade Re:Build will launch globally for PC via Steam. A Nintendo Switch version has also been greenlit, though whether that is also released worldwide is unconfirmed. Players can sample a free demo featuring the game's first chapter during Steam Next Fest, which begins on 15 June 2026.
This release marks the 20th anniversary of the dark-fantasy franchise famed for its anime, figurines and, shall we say, bold character designs, Queen's Blade Re:Build reimagines it as a single-player roguelite deckbuilder. At the heart of the action sits an Armour Break mechanic, letting you strip away an opponent's defences before unleashing a devastating finishing move, because this is Queen's Blade.
It swaps traditional turn-based play for fast-paced, real-time card combat, where you collect cards and items, build powerful decks, and battle rival Beautiful Warriors across randomised, branching runs. Queen's Blade Re:Build is coming to Steam on 22nd of July 2026.
