Return To Monkey Island Out Now!

Having recently sailed back onto the gaming scene, the Monkey Island franchise made a long-awaited return on the 20th of September 2022. The latest game in the series, Return to Monkey Island, is now available on PC via Steam and the Nintendo Switch through the eShop — no Mix ‘n’ Mojo Voodoo Ingredient Proportion Dial needed.

Some of the original crew, Ron Gilbert and Dave Grossman, return to continue what they started 30 years ago, and Return to Monkey Island revives the swash-buckling exploits of wanna-be pirate Guybrush Threepwood. Picking up the story directly after the events of 1991’s Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck’s Revenge.

In this pirate-themed point-and-click adventure, budding buccaneers will need to guide Guybrush through a variety of locations — both old and new — including, the familiar Melee Island, Terror Island, and the unsettling Brrr Muda outposts. Expect plenty of mystery, intrigue, and plenty of info pamphlets!
