Rotor Riot Reveal Mobile Controller with Thumb Stick Buttons

Rotor Riot, an online community for miniature quadcoptor pilots, have developed a wired mobile games controller for Android and iOS featuring fully functioning R3/L3 buttons. This comes after Apple finally allowed the development of these functions for their most recent phones, with iOS developers now working on including this functionality. The company have partnered with LuduMapp, an application which collects mobile games with controller functionality into one place, to bring compatible games to players.

“Mobile gamers will spend over $70 Billion on mobile video games. They deserve access to the right tools for the job. They want an affordable controller without the latency of a Bluetooth connection. Because Rotor Riot’s roots are in high performance mini quads, we wanted to make sure our game controller was compatible with the 1000s of games and drone apps available for iOS devices.” said Chad Kapper, CEO of Rotor Riot.

The controller is set to launch on the 5th of November, and will be available from Best Buy, Amazon and from Rotor Riot's own store for $49.99, £49.99 and €55 Euro, with other retailers to be announced.

Reviews the games nobody else will, so you don't have to. Give her a bow and arrow and you have an ally for life. Will give 10s for food.
