S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl Announces New Expansion with Latest Trailer

GSC Game World has announced a brand-new expansion for its highly anticipated 2024 title, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. After years of hype, delays, and players looking forward to the launch, the base game released on the 20th of November 2024 with favourable ratings in both audience and critic scores alike. The developer is not done with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, as they've just shared a brand-new announcement trailer for the upcoming expansion. Titles S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl: Cost of Hope. This title introduces a battle between two factions with differing views on the Zone.

Cost of Hope has players reprising their role of Skif, as a signal on the PDA triggers a new storyline to uncover. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl: Cost of Hope brings two new regions to explore, new weapons and gear, and a large sprawling map.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl's expansions will be released in instalments. Cost of Hope will serve as the middle chapter of the second trilogy, bringing Duty vs Freedom content in a nonlinear experience with dozens of hours.
