SCP: Fragmented Minds Releases Chapter 02 in New Launch Trailer

Developer HST Studios and publisher indie.io are proud to announce the next chapter for SCP: Fragmented Minds. This Early Access title launched on the 27th of January 2025, giving players the opportunity to check out the experience early.

Taking place in Mars Site-113, players will have to use stealth and combat to make their way through the distinct zones, fighting against a host of SCP inhabitants. Survive in a first-person horror experience, making decisions, uncovering the truth behind the facility, and trying to survive the horrors that await.

The latest trailer launched on the official join-indie-io YouTube channel gives players a look at the second Chapter, bringing a slew of more content. Bringing new horrors, new areas, and several system overhauls, players are invited back to Mars Site-113 to try to survive and uncover more of the narrative, showing off what players can expect for Chapter 02.

• 15 new areas to explore.
• Several new SCP entities to fight against.
• A new system in the form of the EL2 Wrist Device, offering players more vertical mobility in combat that will introduce new paths and tactical options.
• The Scranton Reality Anchors, allowing players to stabilise and manipulate the fabric of existence itself.
• More narrative elements to unravel, including further expansion in the form of audo logs, environmental storytelling, and cinematic sequences.

SCP: Fragmented Minds continues on its roadmap without a clear release date, though it has already garnered a lot of support from its audience, getting 92% positive reviews across 1,058 ratings (at the time of writing). This newest chapter continues the Early Access development forward, and the team invites newcomers to check out the title.
