SEGA Reveals New Story Trailer for SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance

SEGA has revealed a new story trailer for their upcoming 2D action platformer: SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance. With beautiful artwork from the Lizardcube team, the brand-new trailer introduces the premise, enigmatic new characters, and most of all, Joe Musashi's quest for revenge.

Within the trailer, you'll learn about Musashi'a tragic tale, with the loss of his village and the curse placed upon the Oboro Clan. Having nothing left, our protagonist has only one goal: eliminate those who razed his village to the ground: Lord Ruse and the ENE Corp. With challenges ahead, including the powerful artifact that Lord Ruse wields to grant him immortality, is there anyone who can stand in this villain's way?

There's only one way to find out. Battle against Lord Ruse and other enemies for yourself when SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance launches on 29th August of this year.

You can pre-order it now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam for £24.99. Steam players also have a 10% discount available as a pre-order bonus, so the price is £22.99. Pre-orders will open up on the Nintendo eShop at a later date. Of course, players can't only expect a 10% bonus, as those who order it before release will receive the Original Arcade Outfit and the Fortune Hunter Amulet.

There is also a Digital Deluxe Edition available with a 10% discount as well, meaning you can get it for £31.49. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the previously mentioned pre-order bonuses, Ghost Outfit, Medic Lite Amulet, 2000 Gold, the SEGA Villains Stage DLC, a digital artbook and soundtrack, and the opportunity to play it three days before its 29th August release date. 

Physical editions of the game, including a Collector's Edition will also be available for pre-order from 30th May via Limited Run Games.
