Shift At Midnight Added Pets!

Bun Muen and Kwalee are working on an upcoming online co-op detective horror for up to three players, Shift At Midnight! Throughtout  randomly generated shifts, players will investigate their customers because there are some who are just pretending to be human; if they make a mistake, they'll be forced to board up, set up traps, and hide!

On a recent Steam post, the team announced that they will be adding pets! They are the reason players will pick up the sketchy job, so the title will begin with the adoption. There are four options: a cat, a husky, a puppy, and a goose.

Due to them being a bit sick and vet bills being high, the player is forced to take a job at the local Midnight Mart. After the first three shifts, if they make enough money to survive and profit margins are high, they'll be able to bring them to work!

While players are busy, pets will wander about the store; once quiet hours arrive, they'll come over to help clean up. The Steam post doesn't mention anything about them being able to get hurt!
