Simon the Sorceror Origins Edition Differences & Pre-order Bonus
It's been 30 years since the first time Simon appeared on screen, and Smallthing Studios and ININ Games are working together to bring the official prequel to fans and newcomers!
Whether you're returning or joining in on this classic's return, we're here to tell you about the edition differences and pre-order bonus so you can best choose which one fits you! Especially as pre-orders are now live (with the PlayStation store ones going live soon). If you'd like to learn more about the game, you can check out our preview!
Pre-order Bonus

By pre-ordering the game, players will receive the Pony DLC as a bonus, but don't be confused — it's got nothing to do with bite-sized horses. Instead, this downloadable content offers the classic Simon the Sorcerer soundtrack!
Everyone who has experienced nostalgia (and I'm pretty sure that's just everyone) will know the amazing pull it has: it's an emotion like no other... but it's a good bonus for fans of anything authentically retro.
To summarise, this is what you'll receive if you pre-order Simon the Sorcerer Origins:
- The Pony DLC (which is the classic soundtrack of the 1993 release).
Standard Edition — (€24.99)

While (I think) everyone understands the Standard Edition just brings the base game, I wanted to make it clear and also to talk about the pricing! And, of course, if you pre-order, you'll also receive the soundtrack.
Deluxe Edition — (€34.99)

The Deluxe Edition, on the other hand, also brings the digital artbook as well as the full soundtrack (plus the classic OST if you pre-order)! This is a great idea for fans, or even as a gift to someone who loves the franchise!
Here's what you get if you buy Simon the Sorcerer's Deluxe Edition:
- The base game.
- The digital artbook.
- The soundtrack.
Make sure to pre-order the game before it releases! Simon the Sorcerer Origins will launch on the 28th of October for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Mac, Linux, and Steam.
