Single-player Deduction Game Liar's Line Releases New Gameplay Trailer

Pexelies and Aroko Game Studio have shown off the gameplay trailer for their upcoming single-player deduction game, Liar's Line. Taking on the role of a lone worker in an office, players will have to answer the phone to help the callers on the other side... but one of the callers is a monster.

Liar's Line will test players' deduction skills, as they'll need to explore the liar on the other side. To do this, they'll need to cross-reference everything they hear and keep a keen ear on the situation — documents, red flags, lies, and contradictions will lead the player to trust the right character.

Failure, however, will lead to death, and the next playthrough will have an entirely different monster. Each run randomises the monster, and the same character that may have deceived you in one game might be telling the truth in the next.

The short gameplay trailer embedded above gives players the perfect glimpse at what's to come. This includes some of the characters that players will familiarise themselves with, some of the light puzzle elements, and a look at the hellscape the protagonist calls their workplace.

Liar's Line has a Steam Store Page, where the release date is set to "Coming soon". Though you can wishlist the title and follow it for more information as Pexelies and Aroko Game Studio release more looks.
